At St. Andrew’s we value each other as being vital parts of the Christian experience. We believe that the church in the books of Acts (Acts 2:42-47closeActs 2:42-47 The Fellowship of the Believers 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. We also believe all followers of Christ benefit from being involved in some form of Christian community outside of worship services.

We call our mini communities Life groups. Our Life groups strive to be gatherings of imperfect people experiencing community with God.

Some examples of Life groups would be:IMG_2939c

  • Sunday School classes
  • Small groups
  • Women’s/Men’s groups
  • Interests based groups (gardening club, vegan club, etc…)

In Life groups people get to know one another on a deeper level. People are accepted and respected as simply being a son or daughter of God. We value honesty and safety in our community as we strive to create healthy environments that celebrate diversity. Through attending a Life group at St. Andrew’s we are accepted just as we are as well as challenged to explore what it means to be a follower of Christ in our own daily lives.
